Thousands of Belgraders and tourists welcomed the New Year with music and spectacular fireworks from the tower in Belgrade on the water and from Pionirski Park.

A large number of youths, as well as families with small children and even babies in strollers, attended the reception on Nikola Pasic Square with a several-minute fireworks display.
A large number of citizens arrived at the square a few minutes before midnight.
