The US Newsweek magazine said on Saturday, on the eve of the final court ruling on Novak Djokovic's Australian visa, that the tennis star's passport and vaccination status had more tennis fans seeking refunds for tickets than those looking to buy them.

The report, published before the Australian Federal Court ruling which backed the Immigration Minister’s exclusive right to revoke Djokovic’s visa again, cited the English company called Search Intelligence „which released a statement after analysing Google search trends performed by the bookmaker SportsPub.com as founding that those seeking refunds to the Australian Open had a 25 percent higher search rate on than those who were looking to buy tickets.“

Newsweek recalled that Serbia’s top-ranked tennis player in the world had won the tournament a record nine times, and he could have become the first male to ever win the tournament four-straight years in the Open era.

„Anti-vaxxers around the globe have declared a major foul against Australia for trying to ban Djokovic, who self-proclaimed that he’d been given an exemption into the country to play the grand slam event,“ the magazine said.
