“The first meeting will take place in a determined dynamic, with the aim of resolving all disputed issues related to the administrative barriers that hinder economic cooperation between these two countries as soon as possible,” it said and added that Chamber President Branko Azeski named two of his advisors to moderate the meeting.
It said that resolving disputes, including failure by Serbia to recognize Kosovo documents, is an important economic and political issue which could lead to a normalization of their relations. “There are signed agreements that should provide a basis and instruments for a significant improvement of competitiveness, economic cohesion and connectivity of the entire region of the Western Balkans,” it said.
The Chamber press release warned that “the scope of cooperation in the region is decreasing and its countries are poorly integrated in world trade”.
