North Macedonia’s government ordered an overnight curfew across the country for the next 12 days, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
He said that the curfew will be in effect from Wednesday, March 10 to Monday March 22 from 10 pm to 5 am. Zaev said that the curfew will not be enforced for travellers at international airports and in road traffic with truck drivers not being allowed to spend more than three hours transiting the country.
Under the same government order, people coming into North Macedonia from African countries have to self-isolate at their homes for two weeks.
