“We were not discouraged by being rejected by practically all printing companies in Serbia, who apart from economical logic showed no interest in printing a new daily newspaper, although each and every one of them had capacities for that and the fact that they were offered more money than the market price is,” said chief editor Stojan Drcelic and general manager Veselin Simonovic.

The daily will be printed in Osijek, Croatia, and then distributed across Serbia. The newspaper will be available at the price of 29 dinars (approximately 0.25 euro) six days a week on 32 pages.

Drcelic and Simonovic said the daily will be printed under “yet unseen conditions in the modern history of Serbian journalism.”

“Since we are printed abroad, 'Nova' daily will have to be finalised within extremely unfavourable deadlines for a daily newspaper, but we will do everything to overcome the limitations with quality content, professional work on the topics and collocutors, and respect towards the readers,” they said.

As a leading media company in South-Eastern Europe, with 45 TV channels, 15 websites, magazines and radio stations, United Media continues to produce the best possible media content for over 20 markets.

In Serbia, N1 Tv and website, Nova S and nova.rs website, Sport Klub, Brainz science channel, children’s TVs Pikaboo and Vavoom, Grand Production, IDJ music channel, Cinemania, Hunting and Fishing channel operate as the part of United Media.
