The completion date for Belgrade’s first metro line has been delayed again, from 2028 to 2030, the Public Utility Company Belgrade Metro and Train told Nova Ekonomija magazine.

The latest official timeline provided to Nova Ekonomija indicates that the first phase of “line 1” will now be completed by the end of 2030.

According to earlier announcements, Belgrade was to have two metro lines operational by 2030, with line 1 originally scheduled for completion in 2028.
