A warning strike will be held at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport on February 21.

The union Zajedno (Together) told Nova.rs that airport workers are planning a work stoppage from 12 pm to 1 pm.

“Even tough they support the strike, some of the staff won’t be able to participate, because, under the law, a minimum process of work must be maintained. We demand that our salaries be aligned with the average salary in Belgrade,” said a union member, adding that a gathering will be held at the airport at the time of the strike action.

Union representatives said that the strike could be called off if airport management agrees to meet their demands.
