Novi Sad local assemblies plan to mark anniversary of clash at SNS offices

Organizers said the event outside the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) offices is intended to recall the violence and express solidarity with the victims and reaffirm calls for accountability.

They said the anniversary symbolizes broader concerns over political tensions and the treatment of protesters in Serbia. The assemblies said that the commemoration is part of an ongoing civic movement seeking greater institutional responsibility, transparency, and respect for citizens' rights.

Organizers urged participants to remain peaceful and added that the gathering is meant to honor those impacted by previous incidents rather than provoke new confrontations.
