Novi Sad philosophy students: Our fellow student arrested

“According to the police, he is being taken to the police station on Kralja Petra Boulevard. We will inform you of further steps as soon as we find out where he is and why he was arrested,” the students wrote on Instagram.

On Wednesday evening, after the deadline students gave the dean to respond to their demands, clashes broke out between demonstrators and the police in front of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.

Since Wednesday morning, the dean and several professors have been inside the faculty building, from which students were previously expelled.
