According to that the organization, there were some 22,000 people at the protest on the open space in front of the city railway station. Drone video showed a huge crowd on the square with a long column forming to march to city hall.
The Archive said the estimate was based on their video which showed the column marching down a wide street for 32 minutes at an average speed of 680 people a minute. “This was probably the biggest protest ever in Novi Sad with 3 times more people than at last summers protest against lithium mining,” it said.
