The police established that the bomb threats sent to several schools in the city of Novi Sad were false, as well as that addressed to an elementary school in the city of Sombor.

The schools previously received anonymous reports that bombs had been planted in two Novi Sad schools, following which the schools were evacuated and bomb squads were sent to inspect the school premises, reported 021.rs.

The Serbian state TV (RTS) reported that the bomb threat to the school in Sombor was also false.

On Wednesday, May 17, 115 Belgrade schools received false bomb threats.
