Novi Sad students condemn police, pro-regime tabloid

The students said that the publication of the personal data of students injured in the police intervention on Tuesday by the Informer tabloid caused anxiety among them.

They recalled that a number of students were injured by police in riot gear who were called in by the dean of the Sports and Physical Education Faculty Patrik Drid who went to the city emergency medical center to speak to detectives instead of visiting the injured students.

The FTN students said they will not keep quiet in the face of what they called “a normalization of violence, media lynch and being ignored by institutions” and called students, professors and the public to speak out against repression.
