O’Brien: Urgent progress on CSM needed

US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian affairs James O'Brien spoke with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and said that, in order to make progress on its Euro-Atlantic integration path, Kosovo needs to implement its dialogue commitments, including urgent progress on the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (CSM).

O’Brien said on the X social media platform that the US supports Kosovo's path to Euro-Atlantic integration and that he discussed with Kurti the positive steps needed in this process.

US supports Kosovo's path to Euro-Atlantic integration. To move forward, we need implementation of EU-facilitated Dialogue commitments, including urgent progress on the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. I discussed the positive steps needed with Kosovo PM Kurti today, said O’Brien, reported Kosovo Online.
