“Serbian President Vucic and his media henchman Vladimir Lucic got caught with their pants down. They have lied about their efforts to muzzle N1 and they've been caught. This has serious repercussions for the boards of United Group BV and BC Partners,” OCCRP publisher and co-founder Drew Sullivan said in an X post.
The post comes after the OCCRP released an audio recording between United Group CEO Alan Miller and his Telekom Serbia counterpart Vladimir Lucic discussing the dismissal of United Media CEO Aleksandar Subotic. UG-owned United Media is N1 and Nova S TVs parent company.
