Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, expressed gratitude to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, on her behalf and on behalf of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, for the support and humanitarian assistance to her country.
In a post on social media, Zelenska thanked not only the Serbian president, but also the Serbian people for their “contribution to Ukraine’s resilience,” reported the Serbian state TV (RTS).
Zelenska and Kuleba paid a bilateral visit to Belgrade during which they also met with President Vucic.
Kuleba also had meetings with Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic, Parliament speaker Ana Brnabic and Foreign Minister Marko Djuric.
Zelenska was hosted by Serbia’s first lady, Tamara Vucic. Among other activities, the two first ladies also participated in a conference on mental health, sending out a message that only united efforts can tackle the issues related to the preservation of mental health.
