Lawyer and deputy leader of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) Aleksandar Olenik said in a post on X that a criminal complaint has been filed “over the use of a sonic weapon.”

“Following attempted arrests, threats, and public pressure, we have filed a criminal complaint over the use of sonic weapons against citizens at a peaceful protest. This constitutes an act of terrorism, punishable by 5 to 15 years in prison. No one will escape criminal responsibility, not even (Serbian President) Aleksandar Vucic,” Olenik wrote on X.

A peaceful protest held in central Belgrade on March 15 turned chaotic when, according to security analysts, a sonic weapon was likely deployed against the demonstrators.
