Serbian Ombudsman Zoran Pasalic said on Friday that his office will monitor the police at Saturday’s protests across the country.

Pasalic said that his office has formed mobile teams to monitor the behavior of the police, adding that everyone taking part in the announced gatherings have to respect the rights of everyone else.

The Ombudsman called the police to follow “the highest standards of police behavior in ensuring law and order”.
