Only one plane with Serbs from Israel landed in Belgrade, others still waiting

The plane on the Belgrade-Tel Aviv route landed at the Belgrade airport on Sunday around 10 am. Passengers on this scheduled flight told N1 that they were lucky and that only their plane took off. Some of them stated that they saw other Serbian citizens who were not on that flight and that they were very scared.

The passengers who landed today from Israel were mostly pilgrims going to Tel Aviv.

N1 reporter reports that she received different information from the people she spoke with, and that they say that the other flights were cancelled and that only this plane took off.

As for the other citizens of Serbia, of whom there are around 200 according to the media, some of the passengers N1 talked to said that they had seen them and that they were very scared.

The Serbian consul in Israel, Aleksandar Nikolic, previously stated that it is expected that there will be two more flights on Monday and Tuesday, but that those flights must also pass security checks.

The evacuation is still in progress, and the Serbian consul appealed to all those who remained to listen to the instructions of the authorities in order to save their lives.
