Opposition DS filing charges against ruling SNS

The rally in Pancevo was held in parallel with an anti-violence protest in Belgrade. It was addressed by President Aleksandar Vucic.

“Video which shocked and upset the citizens of Serbia shows security guards preventing people from moving around freely and leaving the gathering. What’s upsetting is that this was happening while police officers were near,” the opposition DS said in a press release adding that the police were demeaned because they were not allowed to do their job and arrest SNS activists preventing people from leaving the rally.
