The complaint was filed by MPs from 9 caucuses.
Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) MP Marinika Tepic said that the opposition caucuses do not view Brnabic as speaker since she refused to put the vote on the government on the agenda at a November 25 session. The opposition wanted the vote called over accountability for the collapse of a roof at Novi Sad Railway Station that claimed 15 lives on November 1.
Tepic told reporters that Brnabic violated the constitution, laws and rules of parliament by rejecting the opposition motion. Under parliamentary procedure, Brnabic had to pass the motion on the appropriate committee which she did not do.
