Along with the announcement that pensions will be increased, Aleksandar Vucicć once again stated on Instagram that there are plans to kill him in order to carry out a revolution. The President of the Freedom and Justice Party, Dragan Djilas, emphasizes that "it is difficult for a normal person to connect these two topics," stressing that no one wants to kill Vucic. „No one wants to kill Vucic. No one is involved in politics with the idea that someone should be killed. Once, a man was killed — and that stopped Serbia. Another time, a man was killed — and that led to the expulsion of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija. For the first case, Aleksandar Vucic himself admitted that he got drunk out of happiness, while for the second case, he admitted nothing,“ Djilas reminded. On the other hand, he emphasizes that, as he says, when the government changes, a proper prosecutor’s office will prosecute those who have broken the law. „In the same statement, Vucic says that someone is going to kill him, and then switches to talking about increasing pensions! It’s as if we are living in a reality show that someone is watching, but cannot believe is actually happening, because no scriptwriter would invent this. It’s impossible that this is being done by people who are in power. The president of the country should be a factor of unity among the people, respected, appearing from time to time, and not talking for hours every single day. We are simply living in something that is not a state, that is not a democracy, that is not a normal situation, and all of this has consequences for all of us,“ he concluded.
