Representatives of the Novi Sad united opposition gathered at the site of the disaster at the city's train station on Tuesday to lay flowers and light candles in memory of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
The commemoration marked 40 days since the November 1 tragedy, when a concrete canopy at the recently renovated Novi Sad train station collapsed, killing 15 people and leaving two others with severe injuries.
The opposition members observed 15 minutes of silence, from 11:52 am to 12:07 pm, honoring each victim. The ceremony coincided with International Human Rights Day on December 10.
