The Go-Change movement on Monday accused the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and BIA security agency of putting its officials in danger by fabricating news reports.

A press release said that the SNS and BIA “aggressively placed false news” endangering the safety of the movement’s candidate for Mayor Sava Manojlovic and other officials.

“From the moment we said we are standing in the June 2 elections, the ruling party and regime media, in cooperation with the BIA and its chief operative Marko Parezanovic launched a daily aggressive campaign to place lies through fabricated stories intended to destroy the reputation and credibility and endanger members of the movement and our candidate for Mayor Savo Manojlovic,” it said.

The press release said that fake social media accounts were being used to published fabricated statements and accuse senior movement official Marina Pavlic of satanism.
