Opposition MP files charges prosecutor with forgery

It said that Tepic is charging Public Prosecutor Tanja Vukicevic of the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade of giving the Serbian Parliament a false report. Vukicevic replied to Tepic’s MP question in writing denying that charges had been filed against former Higher Prosecution chief Nenad Stefanovic.

Tepic asked about the charges against Stefanovic during MP question time. The document that contained the false information was signed by Vukicevic and submitted to parliament even though the charges against Stefanovic were filed by two prosecutors from his office who were dismissed from their corruption cases. The document was included in the charges filed by Tepic.

Vukicevic is a close associate of Chief Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac who is alleged to be close to the authorities and keeps a very low profile in public.
