The opposition Ecological Uprising said on Thursday that the Serbian government did not release all the documents related to the reconstruction of the main railway station in Novi Sad where a collapsed canopy roof claimed 15 lives.

The government released documents a day after President Aleksandar Vucic said the demands made by protesting university students would be met. Those demands include the release of all documents and accountability for those responsible for the tragedy among other things.

Ecological Uprising said in a statement that the released documents do not include the main contract on the financing of the reconstruction of the station, requests for technical inspection of the work, a note by geological engineer Zoran Djajic who was engaged on the reconstruction who warned of the need to check the steel construction of the canopy roof.

It said that the operational use permit was not among the released documents.
