Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said in an X post that Pristina supports Kyiv by participating in a UK operation to train Ukrainian troops.

“Through Operation Interflex in the UK, of which Kosovo is a proud member, 34,000 Ukrainian recruits have now been trained. Standing shoulder to shoulder with our allies, we remain united in our support for Ukraine, as well as for lasting peace and security on our continent,” Osmani wrote.

Kosovo Security Forces personnel left for the UK to take part in the operation in January.

Operation Interflex was launched to train 30,000 Ukrainian troops but has trained more than 34,000 so far. “The UK and 11 partner nations stand as one to support Ukraine in the training of recruits. Op Interflex, based in the UK, has trained over 34,000 Ukrainian recruits with the help of our partners, including newest member Kosovo,” the British Defense Ministry said in an X post.
