The vice president of the People's Party, Miroslav Aleksic, told N1 that no decision has been made yet on who the opposition presidential candidate will be but that this person must be elected by consensus and be able to represent a true threat to Vucic’s reelection.
The Party of Freedom and Justice, the People's Party and the Democratic Party will jointly run in the upcoming parliamentary, presidential and Belgrade elections.
Aleksic said that the organizations that make up the joint list will decide on the presidential candidate.
"It must be someone who can 'raise' the citizens of Serbia, instill hope and trust in them,” he said.
