Permit issued for reconstruction of Vladislav Ribnikar school

The Vladislav Ribnikar school in central Belgrade was the site of a mass shooting by a 13 year old 7th grade student who brought his father’s handguns to school and opened fire on a guard and fellow students and a teacher on Wednesday, May 3.

“A Serbian Government working group has been set up, comprising the relevant ministries, the parent committee and representatives of the school management. As the City, we will meet all the requests that they put before us,” Cuckovic told the RTS.

He said they received the request for the renewal of the permit for the school’s full reconstruction seven days ago.

Cuckovic added that the minute the working group adopts the strategy for the reconstruction of the school the city will start work.
