Speaking after the Vucic-Lajcak meeting in Belgrade, Petkovic said the President “stressed the difficult position of the Serbs in Kosovo and the need for Pristina to stop taking steps intended to destroy the lives of the Serbs”. Vucic did not address the media after the meeting.
“Vucic especially insisted in the meeing with Lajcak that (Kosovo Prime Minister Albin) Kurti has to stop the provocations and decisions such as abolishing the Dinar which are aimed at expelling the Serbs from the north and putting an end to the (Belgrade-Pristina) Dialogue. Kurti is doing everything to jeopardize the peace,” he added.
Petkovic said that Belgrade will use democratic means to protect the Kosovo Serbs.
