Picula assistant denies MEPs trying to avoid Jasenovac exhibit in Serbian parliament

Jasenovac was a death camp complex in the WW 2 fascist-led Independent State of Croatia where a huge number of Serbs, Jews and Roma were tortured and killed. The exhibition of photographs is in the central lobby of the Serbian parliament.

Picula’s assistant Gloria Mage Gospic told the Insajder news portal that the protocol in parliament is defined by the competent people based on the information they have.

N1 was told unofficially earlier in the day that the MEPs asked to use the back entrance to the Serbian parliament to avoid journalists.

Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic cried shame during her visit to Talin on Thursday saying that the MEPs want to avoid the Jasenovac exhibit.
