PM Brnabic: CSM and only then resumption of negotiations

Brnabic said at the World Government Summit in Dubai that Serbia has shown to what extent it is ready for dialogue and how tolerant and flexible it is so as to maintain stability, but stressed that it is high time for the Brussels Agreement to be implemented and for the CSM to be formed.

“This time I want to thank our partners in the West for insisting on the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities in the way it was signed in 2013 and 2015 and how we discussed it in late 2022. It seems that this time we share the same position,” said the Prime Minister, adding that what everyone knows has been signed must be implemented, regardless of what Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti says.

Brnabic said the Serbian Government was presented at the 2023 World Government Summit in Dubai as one of the most innovative, and that Serbia is one of the nine leading countries in the field of application of artificial intelligence.

She said there was a total of 1,084 applications for awards and that Serbia’s solution was chosen as one of the nine most innovative solutions.

The Prime Minister stressed that the Serbian Government is one of the few governments in the world that let science parks, faculties and scientific institutes use the supercomputer free of charge.

One of the key things that could be heard at the 2023 World Government Summit is that technology determines the success of a country, said Brnabic, noting that Serbia has realized this and that it stands on an equal footing with the most advanced world countries.

The Prime Minister said she expects that negotiations on a free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates will be completed this year, which would be of great importance for Serbia.
