Ahead of the meeting between the Belgrade and Pristina delegations, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that the talks are going to be difficult.

Pristina has no intention of implementing any of what has been agreed, and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is refusing to even say the words Brussels Agreement, said Brnabic.

Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic are due to meet with European Union officials in Brussels on September 14 for a new round of talks within the European Union (EU)-facilitated Serbia-Kosovo dialogue.

The Serbian state TV (RTS) quoted Brnabic as saying that she was grateful to Vucic for taking it upon himself to engage in the talks and letting the Government focus on other matters.

She said the implementation of the Brussels Agreement and the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) was a priority.

“Still no Brussels agreement and no CSM. Pristina has no intention of implementing it,” said Brnabic, adding that, instead, there is only additional escalation.

Our people need peace and stability because that enables prosperity, said the Serbian Prime Minister.
