The minimum monthly wage for 2025 was raised by 13.7 percent at a meeting of the Social and Economic Council, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said.

A government press release said that the minimum monthly wage would stand at 53,592 Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars). It quoted Vucevic as saying that an agreement was reached with unions and employers to raise the minimum wage enough to cover the minimum consumer basket for the first time.

The Prime Minister said that the decision made sure that it does not jeopardize the growth of the GDP, employers, jobs and budgetary and fiscal stability nor stop the largest investments.
