Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told outgoing IMF Resident Representative Sebastian Sosa that official Belgrade will continue structural reforms as its priority through the reform of public companies.
She added that the focus will be on the green agenda and maintaining macroeconomic and financial stability, a press release said. Brnabic said that she expects cooperation with the IMF to continue as successfully as it has been to date, adding that IMF support is highly important to Serbia.
The press release quoted Sosa as saying that he is satisfied with Serbia’s progress on economic reforms over the past few years. He said that this is reflected in the fact that the new arrangement with the IMF is advisory.
