Police anti-corruption operation across Serbia
A number of business people have been arrested in a police anti-corruption operation across Serbia on Wednesday, the state TV (RTS) said.
It said that the operation by the Criminal Police Department targeted owners and managers of more than 20 companies who laundered several hundred million Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars).
The arrested owners and managers include the owner of the NB Inat weapons producer, restaurant managers and owners and at least one construction company.
The operation was conducted under the orders of the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade.
