A spokesman of the Kosovo Basic Prosecution Pec Office confirmed for the Kosovo media that a police operation against the illegal imports and sale of weapons and cultivation of narcotic plants is under way in five Kosovo municipalities.
These municipalities include Pec, Istok, Klina, Srbica and Mitrovica.
“The Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Prosecution in Pec is carrying out an operation in five municipalities. Thirteen locations are currently being searched,” said the spokesman, adding that an operation is also under way at a location suspected of housing a cannabis plantation.
Weapons, money, phones and other evidence of criminal acts have been seized, said the spokesman.
