President’s close friend accuses N1 of endangering his family

N1 received a letter from Nikola Petrovic which also threatened legal proceedings unless what he called harassment and invented scandals stop.

The N1 story was about luxury living quarters located underground being built in the elite Dedinje neighborhood in Belgrade for people close to the Serbian auhtorities.

In his letter, Petrovic said that he noticed reporters outside his house continuing “the making of new reports intended to demean him and his reputation”. He also claimed that the publication of video of his house and information on his place of residence was not authorized which he considers to pose a danger ton his family. “My family and I are not obliged to suffer the increasingly frequent presence of your reporters and crews in front of our home or to live in fear,” Petrovic wrote.

He warned that he would sue for compensation and file a criminal complaint for stalking and unauthorized gathering of personal data.
