President Vucic openly sides with Prva, B92 TV stations

Vucic told an interview with Prva TV that removing these television stations from SBB’s offer is aimed at increasing the ratings of Nova S TV and N1 TV, adding that the decision is also politically motivated – to lower the ratings of the president and government “before important events.”

The President described as “scandalous” the SBB decision to stop re-broadcasting the pro-regime Prva and B92 TV stations after their owner, Srdjan Milovanovic, asked for an 11 times higher fee for the re-broadcasting of these two TV stations with national broadcasting licenses.

“I think I understand why they are doing this. They are doing it so as to drop Prva and B92 TV stations, I don’t know what they will be left with,” said the President, adding that the aim is to increase the popularity to Nova S and N1 television stations.

Vucic urged people to switch to the Supernova cable service provider.

Both the President and the Prva TV journalist held back the fact that Srdjan Milovanovic, owner of the two cable TVs and three others also re-broadcast by SBB, wants the cable provider to pay 38 million Euro a year, more than 10 times the 3.5 million paid so far, and said that Milovanovic’s offer was a bargain.
