Pristina eases measures on Serbian goods at Merdare crossing

It said that the Internal Affairs Ministry changed the security measures imposed on goods from Serbia at the Merdare border crossing in northern Kosovo.

“RTKlive has learned that the decision has been changed from limited traffic to increased control,” the RTK portal said.

The Pristina authorities imposed a ban on Serbian goods imports last year following the arrest of three Kosovo police officers who crossed into Serbia proper and were arrested, the measure was eased later allowing some imports. Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s and have been under pressure to revoke the measure.
