The reports said that BIA agents worked with other state bodies to arrest two members of what they said are security structures on suspicion of espionage. The reports were identical in several regime media.
The report said that the investigation that led to the arrests of the two unnamed persons took several months and continued on the November 1 operation when Milan Vukasinovic, who was accused of spying for Kosovo PM Albin Kurti, was shot when police tried to arrest him on the administrative boundary. The two people reported arrested on Friday are suspected of having passed classified information important to the security of Serbia to Albanian intelligence services.
