It seems unrealistic that every second adult resident of Belgrade would vote for the ruling party, professor at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences, Jovanka Vukmirovic, told N1. Pročitaj više
Speaking about the Belgrade elections, she said that the ruling parties and the opposition are equal for now, but noted that there is a lot more time until the elections take place.
„I think that the weight on the scales is currently equal in Belgrad for SNS and SPS on one side, and for United Serbia and “Moramo” on the other,” she said, noting, “who knows what can happen until the election.”
“Until two weeks ago, we had no idea that the war in Ukraine would start,” she pointed out, arguing opinions keep changing very quickly.
Her comments come after the leader of the Party of Freedom and Justice, Dragan Djilas, presented the results of a public opinion poll, according to which, if the elections were held on Sunday, the SNS list would win 48% of the vote.
