Belgrade University Professor Radan Stojanovic said on Monday that Serbia that vaccination has come to a stop in Serbia.
Stojanovic, a professor of pharmacology, told the Nova newspaper that the country has a stockpile of some 1.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine which it will have to give away or dispose of soon. “According to data that I have seen, we have some 800,000 doses of Sinofarm vaccine, 600,000 doses of Pfizer and 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine,” he said.
The professor said that it would be wrong to go ahead with a third dose of coronavirus vaccine just because the country has a surplus. “A third dose should not be a priority, we should focus on people who should get the first two doses,” he said.
