Selakovic is one of several officials suspected of abuse of powers in the General Staff Complex case and was summoned on November 28. He told the pro-regime Informer TV that he told prosecutors when he could see them and that he “had better things to do” when they scheduled the interview.
The TOK said that it ordered the SBPOK (organized crime department of the Internal Affairs Ministry) to bring Selakovic in. Selakovic is a law school graduate who served as Serbia’s Justice Minister.
Sources in the TOK confirmed that Selakovic did not show up for the interview and did not explain why he didn’t show up, in other words that his lawyer (whose presence is mandatory during questioning) failed to appear at the TOK.
