Protests in Serbia – Professors stand guard

Students called the gesture by their professors a historic moment. This was the first time that university professors took over from their students, donning yellow vests and standing in front of them at a protest.

Also in Belgrade, an unidentified man broke the glass doors to the Student Culture Center which has been taken over by students. The man then threw shards of glass at the students, an Instagram post said, adding that a girl was hit by the glass and that the police had been informed.

In Serbian northern Vojvodina province, students staged marches between several towns and cities.
