Radar: Friends of the authorities in elite Belgrade neighborhood

It said that Kosovo businessman turned politician Milan Radoicic and his compatriot Zvonko Veselinovic (both of who are alleged to be connected to organized crime) are building luxury homes in Dedinje along with the Serbian president’s close friend Nikola Petrovic. They are being joind by Zvonko Gobeljic owner of FPM Agromehanika which is reported to have been given almost 40 state contracts worth an alleged 30 million Euro.

Radoicic is also known as one of the leaders of the Belgrad-backed Serb List and has been indicted for his role in the Banjska armed incident in September 2023 which claimed the lives of a Kosovo Police sergeant and three armed and uniformed Serbs. Veselinovic’s wife Ljiljana Bozovic is the registered owner of their family home in Dedinje.

Gobeljic, the latest arrival, is not widely known in public. His business success started in the 1990s as CEO of the Sava insurance company and at the Vojvodjanska Bank. Radar says he now owns or co-owns at least 25 companies many of which do business with the state and have seen their revenues rise at unbelievable speed. Those companies are often the only bidder at state tenders. His EWG company was given the job of replacing electricity meters, a contract worth 133 million Euro, along with the Energotehna Juzna Backa company which is owned by Dragoljub Zbiljic, also close to the authorities.

Gobeljic’s FRM Agromehanika is fully owned by Extra-pet which is owned by the Cyprus-registered Velkan Trading LTD. He also co-owns the Economics Institute along with several construction companies.

Gobeljic told Radar that his company has all the permits required to build a housing complex in Dedinje and added that his company is registered for 125 activities. He also firmly denied any connections with the authorities.
