Rama: Increase KFOR troop numbers

“I pointed out the need to increase the number of NATO forces in Kosovo and the need to guarantee the Kosovo-Serbia border which is out of control,” Rama told a news conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Alliance regional member state leaders.

He said the Kosovo-Serbia border is being used for illegal activities, the smuggling of weapons and drugs and for ultra-nationalist political activities to cause upsets such as the Banjska armed incident which demostrated the huge potential for destabilization and escalation.
