Head of the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migration Natasa Stanisavljevic said there are 4,835 migrants in reception centers in Serbia and, according to estimates, approximately 1,000 outside the centers.
“We have zero tolerance for those who have abused our hospitality, Serbia has shown and proved its humane attitude,” Stanisavljevic told Pink TV.
She added that is it impossible to say how many migrants there are in northern Serbia because that is the “exit point.”
Stanisavljevic added that migrants are often targeted by traffickers.
