A construction company alleged to have close ties with the Serbian authorities signed a sponsorship contract with the Belgrade Drama Theater (BDP).
The 4-year 500,000 Euro contract between the Millennium Team and the BDP is the biggest invest by a local company into the theater to date.
Opposition sources claim that the Millennium Team has been awarded a number of lucrative government contracts because of its close ties to public officials.
CEO Stojan Vujko said that the company builds strong and stable foundations for the future, adding that cooperation with the BDP is directed at the public and artists.
