The retail trade turnover in Serbia increased by 4.3% in real terms in June 2026 compared with the same month a year earlier, the Republic Statistics Office (RZS) said.
Retail sales rose 6.6% year-on-year in terms of current prices. In the first six months of 2026, retail turnover increased by 7.0% in real terms and by 8.7% at current prices compared with the same period in 2025.
Food, beverages and tobacco recorded the strongest growth among retail categories in June, with turnover up 6.0% in real terms year-on-year. Sales of motor fuels rose 3.9%, while non-food product retail increased by 2.4%.
