Radio Free Europe said on Friday that three Serbian construction companies whose owners have been blacklisted by the US earned more than 23 million Euro last year.

It said that Inkop and its subordinate companies Novi Pazar-Put and Betonjerka reported revenues totaling just over 23.5 million Euro. Those companies' owners included Kosovo Serb businessman turned politician Milan Radoicic who is formally no longer affiliated with them. Radoicic, who was blacklisted by the United States, confessed to organizing the group of armed and uniformed Kosovo Serbs who clashed with the Kosovo Police at the Banjska Monastery.

RFE said the three companies profited from business deals paid for by the Serbian government. Their financial reports on the Business Registers Agency portal showed that they were awarded construction jobs to build and repair roads and set up power grid pillars.

RFE said it asked the Construction and Infrastructure Ministry for a comment but got no reply. It added that the three companies also did not respond to requests for a comment.
